After recieving the Apple ipad 2 as a gift a few months ago i have to say i am extremely impressed with it both as a device to surf the internet in place of my laptop and as a ereader with its ability to store hundreds and hundreds of digital copies of books and novels. The one issue i had when i first got my Ipad was how and where do i download ebooks for my ipad?


Personally i always feel i am paying too much when spending $15 on a digital copy of a book because the paper version of the titlae will cost the same but you actually get a physical asset which you can then sell on which i think is a lot harder to do with digital media. So i decided to find an alternatives to the likes of amazon and the ibook store from apple.


The first alternative i will recommend is a 100% free service called Scribd Air Max 2018 Womens Sale , this site allows anyone to sign up for a free account the access and download any ebook or white paper on the site. I found some great ebooks on this site but they are lacking somewhat and the site is mainly for research papers and news articles but there are still a lot of ebooks for your ipad on this site. The only drawback for thsi site is that occasionally some of the books can contain spyware and viruses as they are uploaded by anyone and not trusted authors but this is a minor issue for a free site like this.


The second alternative and my favourite is a service called quite simply Ebooks for Ipad, this website is not free like scribd but is better value as their online library is huge over 40 Air Max 97 Womens Sale ,000 titles and users can download every book from the site once they have joined. While it is not free it does only cost $39.99 for a lifetime mebership(not yearly or monthly like a lot of services). Personally i have already downloaded hundreds of ebooks from the site directly onto my ipad 2, this conservativly has saved me at least $1000 and i save more everymonth when i go back to the site and see what new titles and bestsellers are now available.
